In this episode, Erin shares career advice from the perspective of a former Chief HR Officer including how to ask for a raise and how to balance career and family life. She also reflects on how her definition of success has evolved and offers her two cents about why “following your passion” doesn’t always get you where you want to be.
Guest Bio: Erin O’Connor spent the first half of her career in HR in the healthcare sector, including as CHRO. She then went on to become a partner and co-owner of Cammack Health LLC which was acquired by Aon. She has over 25 years of experience in HR Leadership in the healthcare industry. She is currently retired and resides in Brooklyn Heights. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and volunteering on the board with Green Guerillas and NY Insight Meditation Center.
